And plastic... is a product of man.
I saw this last night and made a redundant reply, so deleted it... but, I had just recently heard about that big swirling mass of plastic in the sea... how sad... why did we ever start this mass production of plastic... and, it makes no sense that we have this stuff loosed in our seas! We have to stop buying plastic water bottles, stop using plastic grocery bags!
Have you guys watched this yet? It's a documentary about this exact plastic hell wasteland - a team went there to see exactly what it was all about because it was rumored as an urban legend.
Also, check this out... a student found a microbe that actually EATS plastic.
Yes, and sometimes the fish think the floating plastic bags are jellyfish...
