The Death of Freedom
You move to the left seeking what's right
Then light the candle to guide your sight
You think you are a free man in a world of fools
But freemen are nothing but slaves, but tools
The Empire crashed in forty-five but the dream
survived, Imperialism's alive.
They work thirty six hours to make you shoes
Corporates uinterested in their views of
What is just, of what is fair so long as the dollar
increases its share. As long as it does what do you care?
The flags still fluttering, the nations still there.
The Union Jack is red, white and blue
The Stars and Stripes of similar hue
You'd have thought the New World
Would learn from the old but no you've
Made it bigger, your hearts just as cold.
Its a chill calculus where Corporations rule
In America, In Britain and in the EU
The third world exists in a debt of our creation
All subject to the dictate of one single nation
Raise your filled glasses up high to the sun
Democracy has died State Capitalism has won
Then light the candle to guide your sight
You think you are a free man in a world of fools
But freemen are nothing but slaves, but tools
The Empire crashed in forty-five but the dream
survived, Imperialism's alive.

Dance of the Divine
Moses said to Satan,
Man, that was fun
but I've got to cross this river
to get my business done.
Saul said to Sarah,
Girl, button up your dress
your fathers on the prowl
your sins to him confess.
Enoch said to Joseph,
Guy, that was a blast
but I've got to speak to Jesus
to make his divinity last.
Jesus spoke to Krishna
You know, we both are alike
but I bet your congregation
didn't nail you with a spike.
Loki sat down softly
with mischief in his sack
he sharpened up his wicked
knife to place in someone's back.
Rama did a pirouette
as Bast slowly turned
to the tune of a saxophone
whilst Surt gaily burned.
Poseidon eyed up Brigit,
Lady, I like your smile,
indeed? said she with a grin,
come here for awhile.
Cronus and Zeus sat
and played a game of chess
with pieces made of jade,
Phersephone to impress.
Yemaya danced with Bishamon
she liked his Shinto ways,
Anubis fancied Balor
(even deities have gays).
Loki fixed a fire
and let the flames rise
he laid a torch to heaven
that lit up the skies.
Odin of the one eye
with his ravens and his son
rode out to find Obatala
waging war on everyone.
They poured libations to themselves
and drank their bellies full
whilst Yahweh said to Allah
'I remember you from school'.
Vishnu played a game of dice
with pilgrims and with saints
watched by tired Ixchel,
bright rainbows she paints.
Hades, bored of hell
sits and contemplates
Clotho, Lachesis, Atropos,
sisters and the Fates.
But Loki never can resist
an evil game or ploy
with twine and twig a plot device
more than Balder he'll destroy.
the deities are dancing on,
the deities dance still
they lead us such a merry chase
no doubt they always will.
for every god or deity
be they small or great
are but the stuff of fantasy
that mankind did create.
Man, that was fun
but I've got to cross this river

Supertankers are always afraid of Crytomite: Edward Snowden Edition
The supertanker of improbability keeps sailing on
around the world every harbour is open
but not for long when they realize
whats being carried
and just how toxic it can
be
an so old
millions of years or more
I am told
Who wants old smelly sticky stuff
these days?
Ok its realisable and pr oven
way to keep winter away
and let you travel in comfort
but while the upfront cost is minimal
the lifecyle costs
are unsustainable
so why buy
when long before it
you will die
I loved you big time
for your vehicles
never knowing
a kilowatt
could do the same
but better
its just we did not try
cause the powers with the
foot on the gas
were all made rich
as oil guys
Remember the EV
the GM false flag
to electric
that was such a red herring in disguise
it actually worked so
well they had to kill it
the Dealers did not
like no maintenance
so they said so
I love you electric
but I am an oil man
we are decades
away in any shared destiny
and yes your beautiful and clean
the kind of a youthful dream
that makes a great trophy wife
but man, its never going to last
cause she is going to find someone
her age or your going to die
I am the captian of the supertanker of improbability
I have sailed through earthquakes
you call them tsunamis
and big waves made by
who knows what
still I float
and to the world
I am all that they
suck
Suck Suck Suck on the dogma
of modern economics
a proof of a proof
that has not proof'
like immaculate conception'
just an overriding belief
and a lie told
over and over
Free trade never exist
zero sum game
means someone has to lose
in a comparative advantage
now in game theory it all works out
in reality
we get Goldman Sachs
The invisible hand
its called greed
rape and pillage
and slavery
Child labour
and every other
horror under the sky
Star Trek economics
we call it communism today
but its a military mindset
with egalitarianism
and merit
to tell the truth
all militarism today
advertise they
are communist at
the core
Thinkaboot it!!!!!!!!

Amason selling Google and Microsoft Robots
This is the end of humanity
the Pope was right
to protect the diddling
Priests for the greater
good
at least it was still flesh
confessor
Now all the pillow talk has moved
to the robot stage
but what
is to be told
off the grid with the girl of my dream
a nice little garden
and total communication
24/7
what can you command me
to believe?

Tweel in the hood
No tweel no roll flat man.
A man needs to roll sometimes
maybe women feel that pull as well
but I doubt it
being woeman
worry about birth overall
its not a condemnation
its a fact
women are the mothers of this world
so why have we so tragically
abandoned them
A lion has a pride and humans try to legislate against this
but everywhere you see that failure
still mostly love and intelligence
uber allllllllllllllllllll
survive
and move the planet forward
without the need
for animal degreees..
Like the tweel
the future is rolling
right in front of your eyes
and its brilliant
no need to wear shades
no need to cover up
stupid ideas
lets destroy the past
that held us back
and embrace the future
that can fulfil the majority
with the strenght to take care
of those not capable of making
idendifying the need

Lake of Mummies
Lake Natron has accrued some amount of notoriety for its purported ability to turn any living creature that comes into contact with it a “living fossil.” This effect, while being somewhat overplayed in the media, has some basis in fact. It is not an instantaneous effect, but rather a gradual process. Animals that die here have the tendency to become petrified statues over time, a rare preservation phenomenon caused by the unique chemical makeup of the lake, which encrusts the carcasses with layers of salt, sodium carbonates, and sodium bicarbonates. The carcasses take on a chalky, stony appearance in a process somewhat similar to that undergone by Egyptian mummies.

Do Nuclear Accidents Generate a "Garden of Eden" for Wildlife?
Do Nuclear Accidents Generate a "Garden of Eden" for Wildlife? - YouTube
Published on May 21, 2016
This lecture was recorded May 19th,. 2016 at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, La Jolla, California
---------------------------------------- ----------------------------
Given increasing energy needs related to global development, and the specter of climate change related to CO2 emissions from fossil fuels, there is an urgent need for large scale energy production that does not involve the production of greenhouse gasses. Nuclear energy is one possible solution that has been embraced by many developing countries (e.g. China). But the accidents at Three Mile Island, Chernobyl and most recently Fukushima, Japan, have demonstrated the vulnerability of this technology to human error, design flaws and natural disasters and these accidents have resulted in enormous health, environmental and economic costs that must be factored into any energy policy that includes nuclear as an option. Studies of natural systems are essential since they provide a bellwether for the potential long-term consequences for human populations that by necessity and policy continue to inhabit contaminated regions. Professor Mousseau, discusses his studies of plants and animals living in Chernobyl and Fukushima. Extensive research on birds, insects, rodents and trees has demonstrated significant injury to individuals, species and ecosystem functioning related to radiation exposure He presents an overview of the effects of radiation on DNA, birth defects, infertility, cancer, and longevity, and its consequences for the health and long-term prospects of wildlife living in radioactive regions of the world.

Tim Mousseau (PhD '88, McGill) is a Professor of Biological Sciences at the University of South Carolina. Past positions include Dean of the Graduate School and Associate Vice President for Research at USC, and as a Program Officer for Population Biology at the National Science Foundation. His research is concerned with the ecology and evolution of animals and plants with special interests in how adaptations to changing environments evolve in natural populations and the evolution of adaptive maternal effects. He has authored or edited 10 volumes and published more than 190 scientific papers. He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, The American Council of Learned Societies, and the National Explorers Club. Steve Steve Steve Steve
Shirley you can be serious once in a while
and why why not
is it because of all your history
days and all the love
that has fallen in
your forest
without you ever
taking an axe or a saw
in hand
the long harvest
walks in your land
with fire
and shrooms
in the roots
and moss
it sinks so deep
around your feet
with every step
and the smell is
so fresh
it defies
temperature.

"1)An organization that attempts to use creativity and higher levels of cognition to help to make the world a better place.2)A place where neo-conservatives remove their brains and place them in a pot of boiling water. The results are then eaten just before the participants go on talk shows. Sometimes the hosts are even brought a small plate of the delicacy before the taping, to help them concentrate" - · think tank
