This is a photograph of me
when I was young and beautiful...
I was twenty nine.
Today is my birthday...
I'm fifty six years old...
I didn't think I'd live this long.

I dream of a Star Trek world. This think tank will focus on creative actions designed to initiate a global paradigm shift towards a world where racism, poverty and war will be a thing of the past.

"YOU" as well as "I" are eternally young and beautiful....Our bodies....not so much. Thanks for choosing to be alive this long. It takes courage, and a sense of "cosmic humour" not to take this aging thing personal! Hey, you'll always be a younger man to me baby! Linda
...i love you baby.
we are members of the same cohort .. which explains a lot. i had no idea what i'd be like now back then. but, as the song goes .. it's certainly a thrill ..thanks bro.
One of my favourite songs talks about "live my days instead of counting my years." I don't see it as an either/or proposition though.
I'm 58. In two years, I'll be 60. I belong to the don't-trust-anyone-over-30. So will 60 mean that I'm doubly untrustworthy or does it mean I've gone full cycle and am trustworthy again. (Rambling thoughts on a dark night.)
Oberon, you're cool. That's all, really. You're cool.
