Kan, Jaczko, Gundersen, Bradford and Nader -- Nuclear Power Through the Fukukshima Perspective | Enformable
by Karl Grossman - - It started this June in California. Speaking about the problems at the troubled San Onofre nuclear plants through the perspective of the Fukushima nuclear complex catastrophe was a panel of Naoto Kan, prime minister of Japan when the disaster began; Gregory Jaczko, chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) at the time; Peter Bradford, an NRC member when the Three Mile Island accident happened; and nuclear engineer and former nuclear industry executive Arnie Gundersen.
This week the same panel of experts on nuclear technology—joined by long-time nuclear opponent Ralph Nader—was on the East Coast, in New York City and Boston, speaking about problems at the problem-riddled Indian Point nuclear plants near New York and the troubled Pilgrim plant near Boston, through the perspective on the Fukushima catastrophe.
Their presentations were powerful... more > Kan, Jaczko, Gundersen, Bradford and Nader -- Nuclear Power Through the Fukukshima Perspective | Enformable

anger and courage
"Hope has two beautiful daughters.
Their names are anger and courage;
anger at the way things are,
and courage to see that they
do not remain the way they are."

Dr. David Suzuki speaks at a "Stand Up For Science" rally in Vancouver BC. Things sure get hot in this presentation folks! Dr. Suzuki speaks of the importance of science in this rapidly changing world to ensure decisions are made wisely in affairs effecting our environment & the well-being of future generations of humanity. We are currently undermining the very things which keep us alive and healthy. Decisions must be made on facts, not on the wishes of private interest groups as we are now altering the chemistry, the physics and the biology of the biosphere on a geological scale . Dr. Suzuki tells it like it is accusing our government of "willful blindness". By muzzling scientists & restricting research our government is committing an intergenerational crime, affecting the well-being of humanity for many generations to come.. enlightenment
Make no mistake about it...
enlightenment is a destructive process...
it has nothing to do with becoming better or being happier...
enlightenment is the crumbling away of truth...
it's seeing through the facade of pretense...
it's the complete eradication of everything we imagined to be true...

peace of mind
"We have a largely materialistic lifestyle
characterized by a materialistic culture.
However, this only provides us with temporary,
sensory satisfaction, whereas long-term satisfaction
is based not on the senses but on the mind.
That’s where real tranquility is to be found.
And peace of mind turns out to be
a significant factor in our physical health too"

Hitler Youth
No, this isn't Hitler Youth but it's pretty darn close.
Why didn't the news cover this ?
The federal government calls them FEMA Corps,
but they resemble the Hitler Youth of Nazi Germany.
On September 13, 2012 the DPS graduated it's first class of
"FEMA Corps" aka "Obama Youth" first responders.
